Teacher Resources

One of the key benefits of an educational website like this one is that it provides an opportunity for like minded teachers to share resources which they've found useful in the classroom.

To be effective however it needs contributions from you!
If you have a resource that you'd like to share then please let us know.

To get things started I've put up a few PowerPoint presentations based on a popular TV quiz show. These were created from a template provided by Mark Damon a teacher from across the big pond.

Who Wants To Be A Millionaire

I've found these 3 powerpoint presentations to be very useful as a revision tool prior to end of topic tests.

Presentations are conducted using a digital projector. I ask for a volunteer couple. This couple stays in the game until they answer a question wrong, at which point a second couple comes forward etc. Ask the audience (the class), phone a friend ( a class member) and 50/50 (selected by the teacher) have to be controlled by the teacher. Don't rush through the questions, read out the questions and possible responses several times, it's good reinforcement.
