Supporting Science Education through CPD

A good practice conference organised through ASE Scotland,

endorsed and sponsored as part of the

"Supporting Science Education through CPD" initiative

On behalf of ASE Scotland and partners may I offer everyone a warm welcome to our Annual Conference at Dunblane, March 6th and 7th 2009. This is Scotland's premier opportunity to network with others in the field of science education at all levels. There will be early years, primary and secondary teachers, lecturers, technicians, advisers, manufacturers and trainers all with a common interest. The programme will offer some first rate CPD and updating as well as offer stimulating keynote speakers. The social programme is always a high spot.

The 2009 conference is a collaborative event, bringing  ASE Scotland together with the Improving Science Education through CPD team and Core Partners.

You can attend for a day at a day rate or take advantage of the special package rates, which include accommodation, day delegate rates and the social programme. Speak to your head teacher or bank manager now and come to Dunblane to join us. It is one of the friendliest conferences on the calendar.

ASE Scotland has negotiated special accommodation rates for partners and children of conference delegates. Accompanying partners and children will have the full range of the hotel's facilities available to them. Further information regarding the range of activities available can be found at www.dunblanehydrohotel.com. In addition, delegates may be able to extend their stay at the hotel to cover Saturday night and Sunday, subject to availability, at the negotiated rates. Delegates will be required to arrange this with the hotel.

A programme and booking form for the conference can be obtained here
