The Association for Science Education is the professional association for teachers of science and those with an interest in science education. We have members who are primary teachers, school technicians, local authority officers and lecturers in Higher Education as well as secondary science teachers.

ASE Scotland provides:

• an authoritative voice on science education
• professional development through a range of day conferences and local CPD events around the country
• the Scottish Science Education Conference, in partnership with SSERC
• a full range of journals including: Education in Science, School Science Review, Primary Science and Scottish Science Issues
• teaching and curriculum development resources, e.g. upd8. SATIS Revisited
• means of communication, advice and support
